The enchanting state of Goa provides over 50 miles of beautiful beaches on the Arabian

tourist attractions.
Some of the best beaches in the world are found in Goa; consequently many tourists
flock to Goa from every corner of the globe. Despite the concentration of resorts,
hotels, shacks, bars, restaurants, and souvenir stalls, there is an innocence here
and a freshness of childhood mornings.
Goan beach scene is divided into two regions, North and South.

North Goa: The beaches of North Goa are charming,
attractive and lively. With its live atmosphere it attracts younger back-packing
crowds. The beach activities here involve adventure sports, rave parties, flea market,

shopping bazaars, carnivals, and many other activities. The coastline of North Goa
starts from and extend up to Arambol making it a 30 km stretch of beautiful beaches
The most famous North beaches are, Candolim, Calangute, Baga, Anjuana and Vagator.
Farther North, past estuaries of the many streams that gurgle through the land,
are a series of secluded beaches, Arambol, Ozrant, Nerul to name a few.

South Goa: Like a lace frill on the edge of a colorful
skirt are some of the most beautiful beaches in the world- dazzling stretches of
golden sand edging the aquamarine expanse of the Arabian Sea.

The beaches here are breathtakingly beautiful and pristine. These beaches are perfect
for those looking for a break from the rush of city crowds. You can relax with a
beer and great food along its quiet and long stretch of sand beaches with unparallel
sunsets. South is also home for exclusive beach resorts.
South Goa extends from Vasco da Gama and Bogmalo to to Palolem Beach.The most famous
South beaches are Colva and Palolem. Others include, Utorda, Majorda, Velsao, Arossim,
Cavelossim, Benaulim, Betalbatim, Sernabatim, Veludo, Fatrade, Pedda, Zalor and
Bogmalo.
