One of my favorite artists. Astrix (Avi Shmailov) was born in Russia in 1981 and grew up in Tel Aviv is a Psychedelic Trance DJ. He began recording music under the name Astrix in 1997. Astrix trance music is known its solid, driving bass lines and ascending melodies. It is very uplifting and, as far as psychedelic trance goes, fairly "hard" and is played during sunrise and the morning at outdoor trance parties. He is considered as one of the top DJ's in the world by DJMag
